The Importance of Being Earnest

The Importance of Being Earnest

THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST

BY OSCAR WILDE

The classic comedy of manners, morals and matrimony! Jack Worthing and Algernon Moncrieff are friends that are both leading double lives, going seamlessly from city life to country life, using their double identities to avoid unwelcome social engagements. Cecily Cardew and Gwendolen Fairfax have fallen in love with Earnest Worthing, who appears to be two people- both Jack and Algernon. Once the deception comes to light, it turns out that fiction was closer to fact! (Rated PG)
