Employment Opportunities

Positions Open for our 2018 Cedar Street Players production of Anne of Green Gables. Resumes should be sent to Artistic Director A.S. The Cedar Street Players are the community theatre arm of Ozark Actors Theatre, and our fall community show is designed as a way for us to continue growing our local talent and outreach, through local performance in a professional model.

Stage Manager

Pay: $750, travel and housing

Dates: First rehearsal October 11, Opening Night November 9, Closing November 19

Seeking a non-union stage manager for our fall community show, “Anne of Green Gables”.

Lighting Designer

Pay: $500, travel and housing

Dates: October 31-November 5

The lighting designer will be charged with designing the production and leading a local and volunteer crew in the hang, focus, and execution of that design.

Technical Director/Master Carpenter

Pay: $750, travel and housing

Dates: Build starts October 23rd, through tech on November 5

The technical director will be charged with leading a local and volunteer crew in the building and execution of a scenic design from a designer working remotely.


Other technical and design positions open throughout the year. We are also about to start staffing for our Summer 2019 season and our Christmas 2018 production of a One-Woman Christmas Carol. Those interested should submit a resume to Artistic Director A.S. Freeman.
